The industry's first 5KW methanol reforming hydrogen fuel cell off-road trailer recreational vehicle made its debut.

From October 13th to 15th, 2023, Faraway’s first 5KW methanol reforming hydrogen fuel cell off-road trailer recreational vehicle made its debut at the 18th Shanghai International Recreational Vehicle and Camping Exhibition.

T64 adopts a methanol reforming hydrogen fuel cell system. It can carry 30L of methanol aqueous solution at a time and can easily obtain a continuous power supply capacity of more than 30kwh. The fuel can be replenished at any time when it runs out, and the power generation process is continuous and uninterrupted. At the same time, the heat and water generated during the power generation process can be recycled for daily use. The system has low operating cost, low noise, is resistant to cold and high altitudes, is lightweight and maintenance-free. Coupled with Faraway T6 off-road “unique secrets”, it is even more powerful and innovative. The methanol reforming hydrogen fuel cell system, as an efficient and clean hydrogen energy technology, has attracted widespread attention.

In recent years, with the rapid development of diversified travel scenarios such as residential travel, off-road, and outdoor camping, China’s recreational vehicle industry has undergone a comprehensive upgrade. Issues such as self-generation and self-use of electricity in recreational vehicles, improving power supply reliability, managing and allocating capacity, and reducing electricity costs urgently need to be solved.
